DISTRACTION FROM REALITY

Antisocialized by too much socializing,
torn apart by the machines we built ourselves,
mindless occupations, that feel like tranquilizing,
and in the presence of the anything
we urge for something else.

I seek distraction from reality,
for reality distracts me from what's real.
I need recess of emotionality,
because emotions kept commanding what I feel.

I take a step aside, where I behold my footprints,
and in my back I hear the flock moving on.
Embrace my inner chaos amidst the dull disturbance,
it only takes a single breath
to memorize to breathe anon.

I seek distraction from reality,

I move away in silence
just to hear my own voice.
I wander into darkness
